Education & Research

Post doc

Post doc researcher on the EXOTIC project, Dept. of Health Science and Technology, Aalborg University.
Developed and tested a discreet, tongue-controlled, semi-autonomous, upper limb arm exoskeleton for individuals with tetraplegia. The work revolved around developing an upper arm exoskeleton, and integrating various sub-parts ranging from mechanical and electrical design to software for end-effector control. The exoskeleton was the first of itโ€™s kind to allow individuals with tetraplegia to regain some agency, potentially leading to a better quality of life.

 Feb 2018 โ€“ Jun 2021

PhD

Ph.D. in Neuroplasticity and Pain, Aalborg University.
Research into phantom limb pain and its origins using augmented reality. The research included development of an augmented reality head-mounted display. Included a half-year stay at the central institute for mental health in Mannheim, Germany.

 2015-2018

MSc

M.Sc. in Vision, Graphics and Interactive Systems, Aalborg University
Semester projects were centered on 3D vision, Machine Learning and AI. The master thesis was conducted in collaboration with Center for computer vision in Barcelona, Spain, where I was on an exchange stay for half a year.

 2013-2015

BSc

B.Sc. in Electronics engineering
Majoring in Electronics, Specializing in Computer Vision.

 2010-2013
